Registration for the 2010 Bank of America Chicago Marathon Opens February 1

Registration for the 2010 Bank of America Chicago Marathon will open at 12:01 a.m. (CDT) on Monday, February 1. The 33rd edition of the Chicago Marathon will take place on Sunday, October 10.

Registration will be available online at chicagomarathon.com and will remain open until the event reaches its 45,000-participant capacity. Those interested in participating are encouraged to register early. The 2009 Chicago Marathon reached its capacity in late April.

The registration fee is $135 for U.S. participants and $160 for participants outside the U.S.

Register if you want to run it and you have not already. The limit is 45,000, they are well over 30,000 registered, and according to one of our members who follows the Chicago Marathon closely, it will close with ~37,000 registered -- the remainder is reserved for charity runners (so there are still options for those that want to wait).
